Janie Soublière, the firm’s principal, has proudly served and advised numerous international and domestic clients since 2002.

ARBITRATION

Janie is a Chartered Arbitrator with over 15 years of experience in sport dispute resolution, actively sitting on a variety of sports arbitration bodies. These currently include the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Anti-Corruption Panel of the International Tennis Integrity Agency, Zwift E-Sports, Ultimate Fighting Championships, and the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada.

Janie holds substantial expertise in sports arbitration, having authored over 275 awards to date in topics such as anti-doping, anti-corruption, safeguarding, eligibility, carding, selection, discipline, jurisdiction, breach of contract, provisional measures etc..

INVESTIGATIONS

Janie is an experienced and trained trauma-informed investigator, equipped with the expertise to navigate sensitive situations with care.

SSL takes an active role in conducting thorough and balanced investigations into safe sport complaints and all types of allegations of sport related misconduct.
