Soublière Sport Law is a boutique practice specialising exclusively in offering consulting services to both international and domestic clients in the field of sports law. Our expertise encompasses a wide range of disciplinary and commercial areas including integrity, governance, safeguarding, anti-doping, anti-corruption, eligibility, employment, human rights and regulation.

Janie Soublière, the firm’s principal, has proudly served and advised numerous international and domestic clients since 2002.

ARBITRATION

A Chartered Arbitrator with over 15 years of experience in sport dispute resolution, Janie actively sits on a variety of sports arbitration bodies. These currently include the Court of Arbitration for Sport (General and Football Lists) , the Anti-Corruption Panel of the International Tennis Integrity Agency, Zwift E-Sports, Ultimate Fighting Championships, and the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (General, Safeguarding and Anti-Doping lists).

Janie holds substantial expertise in sports arbitration, having authored over 325 awards to date in disciplinary and commercial arbitration related to anti-doping, anti-corruption, safeguarding, eligibility, carding, selection, jurisdiction, breach of contract, provisional measures, etc.

INVESTIGATIONS

Soublière Sport Law has been conducting investigations for about a decade and takes an active role in conducting thorough and balanced investigations into safe sport complaints and all types of allegations of sport related misconduct.

Janie is an experienced and trained trauma-informed investigator, equipped with the expertise to navigate sensitive situations with care and confidentiality.

Investigations can be conducted in French, English and Spanish.
